Gorilla Packing Tape

I recently received one free roll of Gorilla Packing Tape. I opened the package and instantly thought- "This has heft!" :) My husband automatically loved it. :) This product claims to be wider and stronger than normal packing tape. We put it to the test on our Christmas tree box. And it is true. The Gorilla Packing tape was wider than previous tape we had tried to use. And it was stronger. We could seal it closed with just one strip! Click here for more info: http://h5.sml360.com/-/zn50
You can tell the box was full and fluffy with the tree parts. But one strip did the job!
It's true you can see the tape remnants from past attempts at closing the box. But the long one across the opening is the Gorilla Tape. And it is holding strong!

I also used this tape to reinforce the edges of our game boxes... as those have split from children trying to close the boxes. You know how that goes. :) This hefty tape supports those corners well!

It does seem to be more expensive the "normal" packing tape. But I will use less of the tape since it is stronger, so it will last longer. And I just got a $1 off coupon in with the ads this weekend. Check your local ads/coupon section. I hope you did too!

Barilla Pronto Pasta

I recently received two free boxes of Barilla Pasta. This is their new line... Barilla Pronto pasta. So the idea is that it is faster and easier to work with. I was honestly skeptical. Pasta is already a really easy and simple dish. You put all the noodles in to a pot of COLD water and turn the heat on to high. And in about 10 minutes it is done. Start the noodles in cold water? That was something new to me. But it totally worked! And it was super tastey. They tasted like normal noodles to me. But the dishes I made with them were great! So I am pretty sure if they were on sale, or I had a coupon I would buy them. I saw them at my local Target for $1.44. And right now Target has a Cartwheel offer for 10% off. http://h5.sml360.com/-/yc4t
This meal took me 12 minutes from start to finish. But I keep cooked/chopped chicken in 2 cup increments frozen as well as sliced bell peppers in the freezer (You have to buy those expensive veggies on sale!). I'm all about saving time with meal prep!

This meal took me a little longer... about 15 minutes... But I was trying to blend a recipe that said to use more water than the box of pasta said. I think in the future I would stick to the amount of water indicated on the box.

Why this blog?!

I have started using two main websites (Smiley360 and Influenster) to receive free products to sample in exchange for my honest reviews of those products. This is where I will post my honest feedback of the products with a picture or two. Enjoy!
