Kiss True Volume Lashes

All right folks... this is way out of my comfort zone for this one... But thanks to Influenster I got to try out Kiss True Volume Lashes. Fake eye lashes folks! I have never tried these before. So here is my description of a newbies application. :)

First, you need both the lashes and the lash glue:

This is what my eyes look like with out mascara... it looks like I don't really have lashes...
Here, I put on some mascara... not too much of a difference eh?! :)
K, well, you take the lash out of the box and put a thin layer of the adhesive  on the lash strip.... To me this stuff felt like liquid mascara. At least that is how it dried and rubbed off on my fingers.
The package said to then wait 30 seconds until the adhesive turned slightly clear and tacky... I waited a full minute and mine never changed colors. But it did get more tacky.

And then you just press and hold on to your normal lash line for a bit for it to dry. And wallah! Now I totally have sweet lashes! :) Easy peasy!

Ore-Ida Totchos!

Because of the blizzard that hit my husband didn't have to go to work today! Wahoo!! So we made Totchos together for lunch. We used Ore-Ida's Tater Tots and cooked them according to package directions. Then I topped mine with taco meat, diced red onions, chopped iceburg lettuce, chopped cilantro, and avocado. Totally delish! It was very filling. This would probably be better as a dinner meal as it was super filling. But beyond yummy!
My husband topped his with taco meat, cheddar cheese, a tiny bit of red onion, more meat and cheese and then cilantro. He placed his plate in the microwave for a bit to melt the cheese. He also found his to be a hit! He said this was a super manly meal. ;) I suppose it could be depending on how you top it. And then he said he probably shouldn't eat anything else the rest of the day it was so filling! But so worth it. Very yummy in our tummies. :)

received the tasty Tater Tots complimentary from Influenster.

Cetaphil!

Through Influenster I received the Jingle VoxBox! In it was a sample of Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. It came in a 1 oz little jar. So it would be cute and fits perfectly in my purse. Great for on the go! However, I did not like that it was in a jar... because I had to scoop it out with my finger to apply which meant that the cream got underneath my nails. That is not very fun. Not a huge deal when you are at home and can clean it out. But if on the go... it would be annoying and I probably wouldn't use it. But for home use, this is a must!

As for moisturizing... I think it worked great! We are in the middle of winter... and where I am, we are about to get hit with the huge blizzard Jonas! So it is definitely dry right now. I think this is the driest my hands have been in a long time, maybe ever. With that said, I think this cream does a good job of helping to heal/hydrate my hands/elbows. It's not a miracle worker after just one application. But it does provide relief after one use. And after a few uses my hands are back to normal!  It did not leave a greasy feeling either. Like I didn't feel like I had to dry my hands with a towel after applying, like I do sometimes with other lotions. So that's a plus too. Try it out to get moisture and relief during this dry season!

I received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster, but all opinions are my own.

New Pampers cruisers diaper

Thanks to Influenster, I was given two... count them TWO! of the new Pampers Cruisers diapers to try out and test. I was honestly shocked they could only send two diapers. How was I supposed to do a reliable test off of only two diapers? They didn't even include any wipes. That was lame in my opinion.
I normally use Luv's diapers for my babies. So I took a pic of baby B in her diaper when she just woke in the morning:
Pretty full and saggy.
So the next night we put her in the new Pampers Cruisers. And the result in the morning:
Looks like pretty much the same amount of sag to me. I couldn't tell a difference. Her bottom was still wet like from the Luvs.  So with only two diapers to test and based on my results, they have not convinced me to switch to their higher priced diaper. #SagToSwag fail. :(

Uncle Ben's rice

Today I got to try a box of Uncle Ben's Basmati Medley rice, thanks to Influenster.

I used this rice as a base to a veggie rice bowl. The rice was super tasty and amazing by itself, as I have come to expect from Uncle Ben's. I usually eat his rice by itself as a side dish. And I love it! I especially love his Wild Rice box. But tonight I changed up my dinner routine and added the beans as a protein for a "veggie" rice bowl.
I took a separate picture of just the rice/beans because otherwise it would be tough to see under all the vegetables.
This was a very yummy meal!  I followed this recipe: http://www.favfamilyrecipes.com/our-version-of-rumbi-rice-bowls-with-rumbi-rice.html except substituted the Rumbi rice for Uncle Ben's. It turned out fantastic! We will be incorporating this meal in to our regular meal rotation for sure!!

I love how Uncle Ben's has a variety of flavors to choose from. With all the different options you can definitely switch up your dinner routines very easily to keep things fresh and interesting. #BeginwithBen

Ore-Ida Easy Fries

I just got to try Ore-Ida's new Easy Fries.

They were only $1.25 at Walmart. (But I got to try them for free thanks to @Influenster) The box was small... but the amount of fries in the box was even smaller, in my opinion.
I am not quite sure the quantity matches the price... But the quality sure does! They were cooked perfectly in 4 minutes, as the box promised! They tasted great! Seriously, they tasted super good!! My 3 year old daughter ate almost all of them! I just got to have a few, so I could give my honest feedback. :) So taste/quality wise they are a major winner! And they were easy and fast to make.

Non-Drowsy Naturals Dramamine

I received a bottle of Non-Drowsy Naturals Dramamine with Natural Ginger to try out in my NatureBox VoxBox, thanks to @Influenster!  I was really excited for this because I used ginger a lot when I was pregnant and super nauseous. So I knew that ginger helped calm my stomach and body. I took this before our last road trip. And I feel like it really helped me to enjoy the experience. I didn't get sick at all in our 5 hour car ride. It also didn't make me tired. And I feel it was healthier than downing a whole package of gingersnap cookies. :) I get more motion sickness while on a boat... and I have taken Dramamine in the past, when we went on a cruise. And that helped a ton while on the boat! Although, I did get tired. But I didn't know about this non-drowsy version. I am excited to use this non-drowsy version on our next cruise, so I don't miss out on some of the fun activities because of tiredness to combat the nauseousness. Non-drowsy Naturals Dramamine worked for me!
